Q: Do we need someone to administer gatewayiQ? How much work is involved?

A: Yes, you should have a dedicated resource to administer gatewayiQ. Remember, gatewayiQ is designed to be "turn key" and user friendly, so the administration is quite easy and will depend on the extent to which you wish to use gatewayiQ's features. The best use of your time would be to analyze the great reporting gatewayiQ provides. Of course, now that your leaders will spend less time with administration due to gatewayiQ's ease of use, they will spend their time on more important matters.

Q: How do we connect with people who are not online?

A: gatewayiQ is one tool to support your overall communication strategy. As such, alternative methods of communication may be required to stay in touch with those not connected online.

Q: Who do I contact if I have trouble setting up gatewayiQ?

A: Please contact us using the toll free number (1-888-824-4351) or email. During the first 90 days, there is no charge, as we want you to be successful. After 90 days, depending on the complexity of the issue, there may be a customization charge.

Q: Can I use gatewayiQ to connect with new hires who have not yet joined our organization?

A: Yes. All that is required is a name and email address; you must set up the connection.

Q: I have a very diverse team; will you be adding additional languages to gatewayiQ's functionality?

A: Yes.

Q: What paperwork or agreements are required before I can start using gatewayiQ?

A: You will be asked to review and sign a variety of documents including a Licensing Agreement, Legal Disclaimer, Internet Security and a gatewayiQ enrolment form or Statement of Work.


Technology

Q: How long does it take to set up? What is involved?

A: Depending on the complexity of your systems, it can be very quick. gatewayiQ is hosted on the Internet and does not require complex systems to access. It is recommended, however, that you take the time necessary to create and customize the site that works best for your organization - of course, we can help and give you tips and best practices to optimize your users' experience.

Q: If we have our own intranet, how does gatewayiQ work? Can we integrate?

A: If the online gatewayiQ portal does not suit your organization, we could develop and integrate a custom gatewayiQ solution on your organization's intranet for an additional fee.

Q: Can't we just use Facebook to share information with our employees?

A: We believe that one of the biggest benefits of gatewayiQ is the combination of the connectiveness of services like Facebook with the security and professionalism that is necessary to serve the needs of organizations.

Q: How does my IT department have to be involved with gatewayiQ?

A: Due to gatewayiQ's ease of use, people with any level of technical knowledge can administer gatewayiQ for their organization. Your IT department does not necessarily need to be involved at all.

Q: What technological systems and software do we need to run gatewayiQ?

A: Since gatewayiQ is hosted on the Internet, all that is required for access is a modern web browser such as Internet Explorer 8 or higher, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Opera. You must have JavaScript enabled in your browser to use most of gatewayiQ's features (JavaScript is enabled by default in all modern browsers).

Q: Is gatewayiQ secure? Please describe.

A: Your data on gatewayiQ is transmitted using an encrypted SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) connection, and all images and content loaded to our system are accessible only to registered gatewayiQ users within your own organization who have been given authorization to do so.


Pricing

Q: Does my price change if all my people are not connected?

A: Prices are established based on the number of registered users. We can discuss how this would work for your organization.

Q: What is the cost for customization?

A: If you wish for the gatewayiQ team to help you customize your site, there is a fee for service of $100.00 per hour.


Content & Modules

Q: Is gatewayiQ just another LMS (Learning Management System)?

A: No. gatewayiQ is a flexible system designed to manage many programs and modules including LMS; it is a "one stop shop."
